Announcing the winners of the 2021 Minted Community Awards!

On February 3rd, 2022, we held the virtual 2021 Community Awards to recognize the some of the exceptional artists that make up our amazing artist community. Thank you to everyone that participated in nominating and voting for your fellow artists. We appreciate all who were able to attended the ceremony. To those who couldn't, you can watch the ceremony here, hosted by our Founder and co-CEO, Mariam Naficy. Congratulations to all the winners! Winners will receive a trip to this year's Camp Minted.

Voice of the Artist Award

For the artist who represents the artist voice and shares helpful, constructive feedback for Minted. This artist not only identifies the problem, but offers viable solutions. This artist stays calm and mature under pressure and keeps a positive attitude, often boosting the morale of the community and the Minted team.

Mintie Spirit Award

For the artist who brings a smile to the community’s faces, whether through the perfect GIF reaction or witty take on a design challenge.

Winner: Jackie Crawford

Critique Award

For the artist who helps their fellow community members improve and grow through constructive feedback. This artist puts the needs of others first, devotes time and energy to making thoughtful comments, and shares helpful advice for new and seasoned Minted artists alike.

Winner: Julee London

#Mintiespotting Award

For the artist who is an expert hunter for other Minted artists in the wild.

Winner: Phrosne Ras

Best File Prep Award

For the artist who is beloved by Minted’s files team for having the perfect files that are easy to work with and quick to launch.

Well-rounded Award

For the artist who excels in many different categories at Minted. This artist is not afraid to try new product categories and has found success in new mediums.

For a newer, promising Minted artist who demonstrates evidence of artistic imagination and individuality in pursuit of their passion and dedication to their craft.

For the writer who comes up with the best original wording that sells cards off of the shelf.

Photographer of the Year Award

For the photographer that uses their camera to communicate her vision with the world. This photographer demonstrates feeling and sensitivity through images and provides a unique view into their surroundings.

Fine Artist of the Year

For the artist who pushes the boundaries of art and creates innovative artwork that is unique and unlike anything seen before. This artist stays true to their own vision and shapes and inspires the world of art. Their substantial body of work sets the bar for creative excellence.

Community Award

For the artist who goes above and beyond in helping Minted build and strengthen its community: welcoming new artists, building engagement and fun, and fostering a kind, helpful, ‘pay it forward’ culture. This artist deeply cares for their fellow community members, always puts the community first, and nurtures and supports a diversity of perspectives and backgrounds within the community.
