Ode to Tradition Award
This award is for the design that is inspired by traditions in your own family and/or community. Here's what inspired Sweta to create this design: "For my design, Phool Bahar, I was inspired by the flower decor used for auspicious Hindu occasions like a puja (act of worship) which usually precedes a wedding. Traditional Mango leaves or Ashok leaves are interwoven with orange and/or yellow marigold flowers into a garland. This is used by the community at large for decor and to ward off negative energy and to brighten up the space with colors."
